My philosophy is simple: treat others as I would want to be treated. Everything I do is centered around one question: “Is this best for my clients?”
“Amy is terrific - she really went above and beyond. We were able to find and purchase a home in a relatively short amount of time, and given the current market, that is a feat within itself. She was always super responsive, and took time to first get to know us and what was important to us, and then to explain things we weren't familiar with. During our tours, she would scour the market for listing similar, that we didn't notice on the search. She would also go and preview the properties and let us know if there were any deal breakers, based on our wish list, which really helped us manage our time spent house hunting. While I don't foresee moving again any time soon - I would definitely use Amy again, and I highly recommend her to anyone!”
When my wife and I first got the wheels turning on the home buying process I remember asking her, "So what does a Real Estate agent actually do?" As it turns out, the answer is "Quite a lot." And we are so pleased to have chosen Amy as our representative in this endeavor. I mean, it couldn't have been more than 2 months ago that we had our first preliminary meeting with her and here we are now - moving into a home so beautiful we can barely believe at a price everyone agrees is a steal. The woman is motivated. She will make herself available for you, and guess what? - Once you've found that patch of paradise that you want to call your own - when it's time to push your chips in and lay some cards out on the table - she's going to help you get the best deal you can at the best market value. All that and she's plugged in to a rock solid network of inspectors and lenders who we found were a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend you set up a meeting with her and then you go look at some houses. Before you know it you'll be feelin' good while knee deep in moving boxes.
My husband and I are beyond satisfied with our house buying experience with Amy! We HIGHLY recommend her. Amy first walks you through the house buying process, which we found extremely enlightening since this was our first time buying a house. She encourages you to read about inspections so you are better prepared on what to look for in a house and I am SO grateful she did this because it really changed our priorities. Amy is passionate about her work and enjoys seeing houses with you. She is incredibly generous with her time - we probably saw 30+ houses and never got the sense that she was tired of showing us around. Amy gave honest feedback for the houses rather than talking up every place in order to get us to buy. She knew what we were looking for and gave personal recommendations beyond what our housing portal showed us. We ended up starting the buying process for a house and realized after the inspection that there were too many problems for our budget. When we decided against the house, Amy was really helpful and enthusiastic about helping us find the perfect house. And she did! We absolutely love our house and love our neighborhood. Amy is particularly knowledgeable of the south Seattle area, although I'm sure she knows other areas of Seattle too. One thing I typically don't like about real estate agents is how they tend to over-simplify a problem. They'll often say "oh you could just fix this up, or replace that" and it ends up being way more expensive than you envision. Amy did not do that. She realistically walked us through every problem and told us an what price to expect. We really appreciated her honesty and positivity throughout our searching and buying process. She answered all of our many, many questions and walked us through every step so we felt comfortable and happy the whole time. Amy truly goes above and beyond! I guarantee she is the best real estate broker!
